I’m an experienced Product and UX professional and I lead teams to create innovative solutions for a wide variety of business and user goals.
I'm a great believer in cross functional groups, and collaboration. Not just with developers, ux designers and product managers, but with the wider business teams, content strategists, hr, finance and all people that might be relevant to a product or project.

I’m passionate about creating great products, and I strive to help others do the same.
Career path
I graduated from De Montfort University (1998) with a BA in Multimedia Design. Since then I have worked in design, ux, and product roles and have nearly twenty years experience as a digital and development creative.

Current: I'm currently Product and UX & Design Director at Glaxosmithkline, Global Pharma in a Global role overseeing Product Management and UX and Design for our global digital channels for 100+ markets.

Previous: Prior to this role I worked at Haymarket Media Group, London in various roles including Head of Product and Head of User Experience. This was over a 6 year period.
I was initially hired by the Technology Director in 2012 to lead and manage the User Experience team for Haymarket's consumer division.
After the first year as Head of UX I extended my remit and took on the business division, and then Haymarket Network, the agency arm of Haymarket Media Group being promoted three times in five years.
During my UX tenure at Haymarket I expanded the focus of UX within the company, introduced a clearer structure, set up better process and strategy and introduced UX as a core function within the group.
In 2017 the Business product team under my guidance won a PPA award for Global Digital product of the year for Campaign.
Over the five years I extended my role to become Head of Product managing a team of experienced product managers, ux designers, ux researchers, and optimisation experts across a portfolio of 70 brands.
In that role I initiated an OKR strategy within the company to re-introduce, simplify and direct our teams and divisions approach to digital product development.
Between 2009 and 2012 I worked as a freelance ux consultant, strategist and ux designer on both long and short-term projects concentrating on user experience methodologies. I also worked as a digital art director on various projects due to my wide ranging design background.
During that time I worked in Amsterdam, Prague and Warsaw on secondment from European Directories, a prominent telco in Europe. So I am well versed in traveling for work.
The majority of my early career was as spent working at News UK in various design positions. These included Senior Designer and Chief Designer for The Times, London digital products.
Between 2007-2009 I was Head of Digital Design for The Times and The Sunday Times, winning the PPA design award for digital news sites of the year for Times Online.
